In conjunction with the rebranding from "Osaka ANA Hotel" to "ANA Crowne Plaza Hotel", a large-scale renewal was completed in October 2008. CURIOSITY was responsible for the main floor, two restaurants, "CAFÉ IN THE PARK" and "THE DINING", and the lobby lounge. While following comfort and systematic functionality of an international hotel brand, we pursued a new hotel format that combines the traditional Japanese hospitality found in Japanese inns. Large mirrored pillars emphasize the lobby's height, utilizing bronze louvres and soft lighting create a comfortable space.
