CURIOSITY has designed the interior space and facade of ReFa GINZA, the largest flagship store for ReFa, the Japan’s leading Beauty-Tech brand.
Located in Ginza, one of Tokyo's most prestigious districts, the four-storey flagship store with a basement level is the ideal venue for showcasing all the brand's items, as well as introducing four new segmented brands and five new categories, all of which are being launched in Ginza. The store fully embodies the brand's “Vital Beauty” concept, offering an approachable yet luxurious atmosphere, and signals the dawn of a new era for the ReFa brand.

CIRCULAR

The ground floor welcomes diverse visitors and offers an inclusive gallery showcasing an incredible range of ReFa products, including new items launched exclusively in this store. The circular counter layout allows visitors to explore and touch these exclusive products, encouraging an intimate dialogue with them.

The giant spherical lighting, a captivating focal point from the street, illuminates the space with different levels of vibrancy and luminosity according to the passage of time, offering customers a delightful experience.
Nine original artworks adorn the space, embodying the core elements of the brand concept. Alongside the brand concept movie on the digital screens, they bring the ReFa world to life in the showroom.

ART

The circular layout of the counters enables customers to comfortably explore and browse all the products, creating enjoyable experiences and encouraging interaction. This then leads them to the upper floor, where they can immerse themselves in the brand's world.

COUNTER

The upper floor is dedicated to the transformative experience of 'Beauty becomes entertainment', offering an authentic experience of ReFa technology and craftsmanship. Visitors can touch the brand's award-winning products, including hair dryers, straighteners and fine bubble shower heads.
The circular counter in front of the lift provides a comfortable space for visitors to receive personalised advice, displaying the exclusive items provided only in this store.

SPACE

The space is organised with gentle, curved lines and circular counters, with no barriers between individual areas and product categories. This creates an airy, comfortable space that evokes the smooth texture of hair beauty.
This comfortable atmosphere with plenty of natural sunlight promotes the dialogue between visitors and products, beauty and technology.

PERFUME

With the theme of “Vital Radiance”, the floor presents new products categories, ReFa THE PERFUME and ReFa HEART FRAGRANCE. The visitors enjoy new experiences at the perfume counter with curvy line and special equipment.

HEARTBRUSH

The Heart Brush Wall features ReFa's signature products. With their charming and sophisticated designs, they offer a unique texture and touch that bring an iconic view into this interior.

CENTRE

The experiential space features thoughtfully designed dressing tables with large mirrors. This combination of functionality and aesthetic perfection enhances the space, enabling visitors to experience ReFa’s technology for themselves.

In contrast to the soft-toned area, the experiential space for the shower head equipment offers more intimate and mysterious atmosphere with the black matte stone. The giant stone bowl with 2.5 meter diameter allows the visitors to touch those shower items, made with ReFa’s distinguished craftsmanship.

SCREEN
LOUVER

The third floor is themed around the concept of 'Vital Core' and showcases the brand's vision. Visitors are invited to explore an array of linen and functional outfits designed to promote a vibrant lifestyle and inner beauty. The space showcases the brand's updated categories and products.
After viewing the brand message on the digital screen, visitors can browse the exclusive range of high-tech healthwear in a relaxed setting featuring wooden louvres.

BAR

The journey to discovering a new, vibrant lifestyle concludes with the unique hospitality offered at the exclusive bar counter, which is available only in this flagship store. ReFa WATER, the new collection, is provided there.
Copper-toned, textured furniture reminiscent of the Japanese tea ceremony creates a warm, relaxing atmosphere.
Behind the shelf, through the glass façade, the unique grid can be seen outside, giving the exterior design its perfect proportions.
By providing an experience that goes beyond that of a simple store, we have firmly established the store's role as a one-of-a-kind flagship.

FINAL

The unique flagship store was created in response to the stimulating challenge of translating ReFa’s philosophy of beauty and its exquisite technology into a physical space.
This is where all visitors encounter a new discovery of beauty. Blending beauty and functionality, it captures the moment. It is more than just a retail store; it is also a gateway to a journey of discovery.
