Nicolas created his vacation house on the coast in Nanki-Shirahama, the resort area in Wakayama, Japan. The linear, single-storey house is carefully designed to meet the strong weather of surrounding, which offers spectacle with 180 degrees ocean view. Wa House's aim is to create a dialogue between vernacular architecture and modern abstract archetypes.
