Nail salon, MARS THE SALON, situated adjacent Nezu Art Gallery in Aoyama, Tokyo, reopened as a Spa boutique. The expansion, a continuation of CURIOSITY`s original nail salon design, contrasts the salon`s natural light with a dramatic space design unique to the spa. The vertical forms, light and shadows create a rhythm evoking the heartbeat of the human body. A space to focus on the self, mind and body, forgetting the bustling city centre of Aoyama.
