KOKUYO DESIGN AWARD 2011 TROPHY | CURIOSITY

The Kokuyo Design Award, a well-known product design award for furniture and stationery established by the Japanese stationery company "KOKUYO", was held under the theme "Campus = A design for learning", 2011. The posters, catalogue, and trophies use random circles referencing a child's first drawing, a key visual representation that learning starts from this first attempt at interpreting the world. A black hole illustrating limitless ideas on the poster, actual circular holes employed to intrigue readers in the catalogue and the same round 3D shape of the acrylic trophies convey the design concept.
