Gwenael Nicolas, Curiosity supervised the design of MEDUSE pendant lighting, designed for private residences, hotels and restaurants, and launched by Panasonic Corporation Life Solutions Company.
MEDUSE embodies two different statements, conveyed through Nicolas’ experience in lighting expressed by his various interior design projects. The shade design enables the user to experience two functions of the lighting at the same time; direct spotlight with reduced glare and at the same time diffused light, illuminating the entire space softly, which induces beautiful contrast within the space.

The unique form of the shade also creates luxury ambience, combined with thick glass with organic curve under the cover. Symbolic silhouette is integrated into the space like an art piece, while light is turned off, which also realizes Nicolas’ ideal of furniture and interior’s fusion.

[WHITE X WHITE] offers a soft gradation of light with leather satin texture under cover. In [BLACK X BLACK] and [WHITE X CHROME], you will enjoy variety of scenes on chrome surface, reflecting environment and light around because of time and seasonal changing.
