Gwenael Nicolas has created Curiosity's orginal perfume "CURIOSITY ESSENCE" collaborating with Japanese renowned glass maker, SUGAHARA for the hand-blown bottle and a young Japanese perfumer for the scent. The perfume concept succeeded "CURIOSITY ESSENCE" the monograph recently released,revealing his design inspiration from Japan and the perfume was designed with the same philosophy. The perfume was made exclusively 300 bottles.

“Eternity exists in each and every moment"

Inspired by this few words. CURIOSITY ESSENCE perfume illustrates how a frozen moment reveals its ultimate simplicity and infinite complexity. This objet is created by the singularity of reality, and the whiz of nature. Movement, gravity, substance and light made that moment happen and the talent of a glass artist frozed it in time.
This suspended drop expresses the echo of memories, the simplicity of that moment reveal its transience as well as its immense preciousness, appreciation of a moment of unexpected beauty.
“A perfume is a trace of memory that stretches our senses to recreate an image of personal awareness". The fragrance was created with the complexity of that single moment in mind.
The fragrance is discovered like a walk through a garden towards a tea house. The essences of hinoki, fresh leaves and bergamot clear the mind. Entering the room the Japanese hospitaIity reveals unexpected sensation. Wagashi (Japanese sweet), tea, cinnamon and sandalwood carry your mind towards serenity.
