An original Butsudan, a miniature Buddhist temple kept inside homes, produced in collaboration with Naoki Sakai's Water Studio, marked the beginning of Gwenael Nicolas’career in Japan. Although initially designed for the Exhibition with the theme of “The Box of Time”, the piece was later commercialized due to its popularity.
